As part of the AJET Games event calendar and in conjunction with the Tokushima Touch Association, AJET Tokushima is hosting its fifth Touch Rugby Tournament on the weekend of May 31 - June 1, 2008.

Teams of JETs, friends and Japanese people will come together in Tokushima-ken to enjoy competitive sport and good company. The main venue for the tournament will be the same as for the past two years, Shikoku Saburo no Sato, a picturesque campground located by the Yoshino River in Mima-shi.
The tournament will commence on the Saturday with round-robin matches and conclude with a round of finals on the Sunday. A barbeque party is planned for the Saturday evening, with time for a visit to a local onsen, to relax after a hard day's play.
As with all AJET Games events, the tournament ultimately hopes to promote good relations between JETs and the Japanese community. It is also an excellent opportunity for local companies to get involved in promoting cultural exchange through sport.
The Tournament Committee is looking forward to welcoming about 200 players and supporters to Tokushima in May. The information in this Tournament Handbook should help teams with their preparations and ensure that everyone can enjoy the weekend.
